Ann Belleau as our featured alumni. Ann was BMCC’s very first graduate and has come a long way since then, working her way up to become the Director for Head Start and Early Head Start Programs in eight Michigan Tribal Communities, including the Bay Mills Indian Community Head Start Program.

I obtained my BA in English Education, with a minor in Mathematics education. I really believe that BMCC helped me gain the confidence to succeed in college and the confidence to become a campus and community leader. At MTU, I was president of the Native American Association. Jill also did a tour in the Peace Corp in Africa and was a teacher of English as a second language.
