   BMCC is chartered by Bay Mills Indian Community
1985
   First off-site courses are offered in Newberry
1992
   BMCC is awarded candidacy status with NCA
1993
   Dorms are constructed
1994
   BMCC receives federal designation as a Land Grant Institution
1995
   BMCC is awarded initial accreditation by NCA
1998
   BMCC is awarded initial 10 year accreditation by NCA
1999
   BMCC initiates its Virtual College
2000
   BMCC authorizes its first Public School Academies (Charter Schools)
   Library/Heritage Center is constructed
2002
   Michael C. Parish is hired as the second BMCC President
2003
   First online degrees are awarded in Early Childhood Education
   Mikanuk Hall is constructed
2004
   BMIC purchases West Campus property and leases to BMCC
   Construction Technology facility is constructed
2005
   Great Lakes Composites Institute is established
   Two online degrees are approved by NCA after focused team visit
2006
   BMCC initiates the Board of Regents Scholarship
2007
   Migizi Hall is constructed (West Campus)
