Part B Group Presentations

This section contains information home-based supervisors and other trainers can use to plan and conduct workshops based on the videotape presentation. These workshops address the same topics as Part A of this Guide:

Used in its entirety, A Partnership with Parents can provide an overview of the home visitor's role in conducting individualized home visits and meeting the Head Start Program Performance Standards. The first three workshops address these topics.
Sections of A Partnership with Parents can be used for focusing staff on specific aspects of their role. The first part of the videotape depicts assessment and planning activities and is the focus of the fourth workshop. The latter part of the videotape includes a group socialization activity, which is the focus of the fifth workshop. For conducting training that incorporates the videotape, select topics appropriate to staff interests and needs. Review the trainer information in Part B and corresponding content in-part A.
Photocopy sufficient numbers of the fact sheets to distribute as handouts. The fact sheets begin on page 25.
