Specialization Areas:

BMCC requires that all students take EN111 at the beginning of their studies. Students will be required to take a placement test to see if they are ready for EN111 or need an academic enrichment course.

  • If a student is not comfortable with using a computer (sending e-mail, attaching files, typing paragraphs in a word processing program, saving files to a disk, using search engines), they are required to take CS105 at the beginning of their degree program.

Graduation Requirements
  • Students of Bay Mills Community College are expected to make academic progress during their course of study.
  • Students pursuing an Associate Degree or Certificate must complete all courses as required in their program, successfully complete the Writing Proficiency Exam, and have a 2.00 cumulative grade point average to graduate.
