GRADING

 

Grades are based on a straight points earned divided by points possible scale. I do not curve any test or assignment. Although subject to change (which I will inform you by e-mail if they do), your grade breakdown will be as follows:

Six Theory Based Assignments (i.e., matching, review questions)	20 points each
Chapter Problems = 30 points for each chapter (2, 3, 4, 5, & 6)	150 points
Continuing Problem = (20 points for each chapter)	100 points
Tests = 3 tests at 50 points each	150 points
WebBoard Discussion Questions = 12 @ 20 points each	240 points
State Withholding Assignment	50 points
Unemployment Assignment	50 points
Chapter 7 - Excel Version & Hand-Written Forms	300 points
Appendix A - Computerized Payroll Version of Chapter 7 Problem	100 points
Total points possible for course:	1260
